Local Charities In Need Amongst The COVID-19 Pandemic

Updated: May 21, 2020

We are most thankful for your support in our business and community during this difficult time in history. There are so many great charities that are really taking charge and making sure that those that have become in need, are getting the help they deserve. There has been so much media coverage on some of our larger community outreach programs, but there are some smaller organizations that are making a difference in our community that are not getting the support they need at this time. That's why BluEgg Photography's Owner, Robyn Lindsey, encourages you to make a donation to one of the following community partners that we directly support. Take a look at what they're doing to supply support in our area.

If you are making a donation on behalf of our Family "Porchraits" fundraiser, don't forget to send a screenshot of your donation to Robyn@blueggphotography.com. Thank you again for being a community supporter!

Celebrate Birthdays normally have several monthly group birthday parties to celebrate children whom are in foster care or financial need. As a group the kids play games, eat cake, and the children with their special day during that month open presents, all of which is donated graciously by members in our community. Since the organization is not allowed to host these parties for several months now, their other program, called "Birthday In A Box", has really filled a need. Click Here to check out this quick video from FOX13 News that was aired on April 22nd. You can donate by sponsoring a box, a gift or a party through their donation page HERE.

Kiddy Up Ranch is another organization that provides support to children and individuals of all ages with special needs. On an average day, the ranch is filled with riders of all disabilities, receiving therapy and gaining strength as they interact with the local animals. Since they have not been able to provide these services for several months now, they are struggling to keep the ranch growing. You can learn more about their therapy and riding options, along with their community garden program on their website, KiddyUpRanch.org. You can donate a general dollar amount or sponsor a particular item or program HERE.

The Humane Society of Pasco County provides shelter and care for rescued and abandoned animals throughout Pasco County. They are in desperate need of a new shelter. Most of the dogs are kept outdoors in exposed cages with only a roof over head, and the cats are kept in a trailer that is long past due for renovation. They are almost to their monetary goal to start breaking ground for a new facility. If you would like to donate to this fund, please do so through their GoFundMe account HERE.
